Fare Changes - January 2025
Inline with the Governments change to the Bus Fare Cap announced in the last budget, Lancashire County Council's contracted bus services fares will be revised in line with the UK Government's single fare cap. However, certain local bus fares will be less than £3.
There are also some changes to daily ticket prices, these are detailed below:
These day and weekly tickets, sold on-bus (or off-bus where operator facilities have been agreed), are available for either one days' or up to seven days' unlimited travel on Lancashire County Council's supported local bus services as advised below, at the following prices:
Day tickets
Day adult - £6* (reduced from £8)
Day under 19 - £4* (reduced from £5.50)
Day duo - £10
Day group/family - £16
Weekly tickets
Weekly adult - £18
Weekly under 19 - £14
Duo – means two people travelling together
Group/family – up to five people travelling together
Reduced Evening (after 7pm) and Reduced Sunday Fares
You can still travel on any bus in Lancashire for £1 for any journey, after 7pm, 7 days a week.
On Sundays and bank holidays you can travel for just £1 all day on any bus in Lancashire.
These discounted tickets will be available until at least March 2025.
