Fare Changes - From 4th January 2026

Lancashire County Council's has announced that there will be updates to contracted bus services fares, there are minor changes to single and return fares, no ticket will increase above the £3 fare cap.

There are some changes to daily ticket prices, these are detailed below:

These day and weekly tickets, sold on-bus or on our app, are available for either one days' or up to seven days' unlimited travel on Lancashire County Council's supported local bus services as advised below, at the following prices:

Day tickets

Adult Day - £6
Under-19 Day - £4
Duo Day - £10
Group/Family Day - £16


Weekly tickets

Adult Weekly - £19 (was £18)
Under-19 Weekly - £15 (was £14)

Duo – means two people travelling together
Group/Family – up to five people travelling together

 

Reduced Evening (after 7pm) and Reduced Sunday Fares

You can still travel on any bus in Lancashire for £1 for any journey, after 7pm, 7 days a week.

On Sundays and bank holidays you can travel for just £1 all day on any bus in Lancashire.

These discounted tickets will be available until at least 31st March 2026.

Diversion

Services 5A, 5C, 55A and 55C continue to omit Livesey Branch Road in both directions from 6pm onwards.

The route taken will be past the Fox & Hound, along A666 onto Aqueduct Road, Stancliffe St and re-join Mill Hill.
